Food Preparation

10-week Basic Culinary skills

This course is an introduction into the culinary arts with a major emphasis on practical cookery. Other components of the course include catering theory, food costing and menu planning. The course runs over 10 lessons (once a week- for 10 weeks) practical training at Steyns’ Culinary School. Upon completion the school will present the successful candidates with a certificate from the school. Days subject to change due to Public Holidays.

10-Week cooking level 2

This is a build on the basic cooking skills course. The course will cover more advanced skills and different food commodities. A perfect option for those who have mastered basic culinary arts. 

8-Week Basic Baking

Unleash your inner baker with our exciting new 8-Week Baking Course! Gain confidence in the pastry kitchen through hands-on baking experiences. From cookies and scones to croissants, breads, pastries, cakes, and cake decorating, you'll master it all.

Baking Level 2

Build on the skills gained in our basic baking course. This course is aimed at developing even baking even more, with some added theory and even more delicious products to be made.
