Hidden center Garlic bread


1 French loaf, cut into 4 slices

8 Slices of mozzarella cheese

1 rump, slice into 8 thin slices

15 ml red meat rub

1 onion, chopped

4-6 sundried tomatoes, in oil, sliced

15 ml Basil Pesto

45 ml Thick and creamy Mayonnaise

15 ml Chopped parsley

2 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped

45 ml Chilli oil

1 Take inside of bread out so that there is a hole throughout

2 Season meat with rub and fry on high heat until just brown.

3 Fry onions until soft.

4 Mix mayonnaise and basil pesto together

5 overlap cheese and spread with mayonnaise.

6 Put meat in middle of cheese and top with onions and tomatoes, Roll up

7 Press rolled cheese bundle into open cavity of bread.

8 Do this for all 4 pieces. Put pieces of bread back together again.

9 Mix parsley, garlic and Chilli oil. Spread everything over loaf.

10 Cover in aluminium foil and bake in the oven (180°C) or on the braai.
