Ingredients
1kg chicken wings
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Flour
Sauce
125ml Tomato sauce
30ml brown sugar
20ml Golden syrup
30g Gochujung paste
30ml Apple Cider Vinegar
5ml Worceshire Sauce
5ml Mustard Powder
1 clove Garlic
2ml Cayanne pepper
1ml Smoked Paprika
Tzatziki
1 large cucumber
300ml Greek yoghurt
1 Garlic clove, minced
7.5ml finely chopped fresh dill or mint
15ml Olive oil
Salt and pepper
Method
1. Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Dust with flour
2. Set air fryer to 190̊ C and cook wings 12 minutes. Remove air fryer tray, baste with sauce and place back into the air fryer. Cook for 12 minutes more.
3. Increase heat to 200̊ C and cook for another 5 minutes.
4. Serve with Tzatziki dipping sauce
Tzatziki dipping sauce
1. Grate the cucumber on the coarse side of a grater.
2. Place in kitchen cloth and make a tight bundle and squeeze hard to extract all the liquid.
3. Place cucumber in a bowl and stir in the yoghurt, garlic, dill, olive oil, salt and pepper.
4. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 3 hours for the flavours to blend.
