Cream Filled Puff Pastry




Ingredients

2 sheets of puff pastry (700g)

Cinnamon sugar

200g chopped nuts

1 egg

25ml milk

200ml whipping cream

1 punnet fresh raspberries (optional)

Vanilla

Caster sugar

 

Method

1.        Take on sheet of puff pastry and place it on your oven rack. Press the dough down into the gaps in the oven rack to make indents.

2.        Sprinkle cinnamon sugar into the dents made

3.        Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the sugar.

4.        Place a second sheet of puff pastry over the first

5.        Brush with egg wash.

6.        Bake at 180̊   for 30 minutes.

7.        Remove from oven and cool

8.        Cut the puff pastry along the newly formed lines. And divide into desired sized pieces.

9.        Fill the tubes with whipped cream.
