Ingredients
230g block feta cheese
½ cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons olive oil
Lemon zest
Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for serving)
Directions
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. If the texture is too thick, add in 1 teaspoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
2. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with a drizzle with olive oil and crushed red pepper flakes, if using.
NOTES
How to store: Keep leftover whipped feta in the fridge for up to 4-6 days in an airtight container.
How to freeze: Whipped feta can be frozen. This dip can be stored in the freezer for up to three months. To thaw, simply place it in the refrigerator overnight.
Additional ingredients : Roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, honey, spring onions, nuts, fresh herbs. Basically anything can be added to the dip.
